XO FACEcare Featured in O Magazine’s November 2019 Issue
Designed and Formulated in Calgary, Annie Graham Scores Major American Editorial Win for Lunar Veil
In May 2018, Calgary Facialist and Entrepreneur, Annie Graham released her skin care collection, XO FACEcare. Launching with one product, the XO PM serum, the line quickly grew into a nine-piece collection including a complete range of uncomplicated, effective skin care products with one mission: heal and soothe skin.
In less than two years, the collection has been featured by countless Canadian media outlets including FASHION Magazine, Best Health, The Globe and Mail, The Marilyn Denis Show, and many more. This week, the collection made its American media debut with a feature in O Magazine’s November issue. Alongside brands like, Dior, Elie Tahari, MAC, and Tata Harper, XO FACEcare’s Lunar Veil overnight mask was featured in a ‘mystical’ roundup of products, noting that “you don’t have to wish upon a star to look out-of-this-world.” An image and description of the product is prominently featured on page 58.
“I have known Lunar Veil was under consideration for the issue for several months,” says Annie Graham, who was asked to send the full collection to the editors this past summer. “It’s the hardest secret I’ve kept in my life; publicity like this is a dream come true, it gives XO FACEcare visibility and credibility in an industry dominated by massive corporations.”
Lunar Veil is a ‘lightweight overnight’ mask that seals in moisture, and supports the natural regeneration process of skin. Ingredients include bio fermented sea kelp (the ultimate, nourishing antioxidant), calendula and chamomile, which balances and hydrates the face. The soothing combination multitasks overnight so users wake up, rinse, and face the day with smooth skin.
“Lunar Veil has been a huge hit with my clients who also use it as a barrier cream when dry, cold conditions have taken their toll on the skin,” explains Annie.
XO FACEcare is dedicated to creating hyper-effective skin care products. All products are formulated using a clean chemistry methodology in XO’s Calgary lab using pure, scientifically proven ingredients. Optimistic about the future of XO FACEcare, this year Annie is renovating XO Treatment Room (located in the Beltline neighbourhood), to ensure she has ample room for a significantly larger laboratory.
“The skin care market is extremely complicated and saturated with products claiming numerous, instant and, transformative benefits but my approach is different, no magic, no buzzwords and no empty promises. Each XO FACEcare product has been designed to do one thing – to ensure noticeably healthy cared for skin.” XO FACEcare products also include XO Treatment Room’s signature scent made of locally-blended essential oils, this ensures that the self-care routine is pleasurable and relaxing as it is healing.
